Successful kick-off and presentation of the HISS project at the interactive exhibition Wissensspeicher
At the same time as Documenta 2022 Kassel is inviting visitors this summer to visit and experience the exhibition “Wissensspeicher – 100 Ideen für die Welt von morgen”. Our Hybrid Intelligence Service Support System will be exhibited there under the guiding theme “How do we manage to shape digitization and technology in such a way that people take center stage?” as a solution for the support of tomorrow.
At the kick-off event on 20.07.2022, researchers and visitors of the exhibition had lively discussions and exciting ideas were exchanged. We are happy about the great interest in our project and this successful kick-off!
Another highlight was the presentation “Artificial intelligence in the transformation of work” at the event “Pitch your impact” on 04.08.2022.
With the goal of bringing ideas for a more sustainable future from research into society, visitors were able to gain in-depth insights into our research project through our presentation. In addition to the challenges in IT support (overload and monotony), we presented ethical criticisms of the use of artificial intelligence in the working world and presented hybrid intelligence -the symbiosis of human and artificial intelligence- as a possible solution.
We placed particular emphasis on the approach of actively involving users in the development process. Through an agile and participative development process and the use of no-code/low-code solutions, IT support staff should have control over AI deployment and be able to introduce automations in a self-determined manner.
The conclusion of our presentation: a socially responsible and human-centered development of artificial intelligence can sustainably improve IT service management workplaces.
We would like to thank UniKasselTransfer and Raamwerk for the great organization and all project participants for their cooperation!
The Hiss project and exhibition can be visited until August 20, 2022.
